Let's just put series 8 out of our minds? Good. If you're visiting Dubrovnik then you really have to do a GoT tour if you're a fan. There are a variety of different tour providers that vary in length and price. So have a look and see which suits you for time and budget. Mine lasted approx 2 hours and came with entry to an additional part of the city that is featured on the show called Fort Lawrence. If you need to see every place they've filmed then you'll need to buy a City Walls pass which will cost you extra.
The tour starts near the West Harbour which interestingly is where the final season finished with (spoiler warning) Jon being exiled and saying goodbye to his siblings (I went before the finale so I'm glad I went here). There have been a variety of scenes shot here including moments between Sansa and little finger.
The next part of the tour was an optional extra up in Fort Lawrence where they filmed multiple Kings Landing internal scenes and here you can see me looking for the Iron Fleet. This part of the tour offers some stunning views however if you are not particularly mobile you may struggle as there are a lot of stairs.
The next part of the tour takes you into the Old Town to arguably one of the most iconic settings in the show. Cersei's walk of shame through Kings Landing. If you can walk through here without shouting "SHAME!" at yourself then you're a better man than me but ya boring.
After the walk of shame then we headed up to one of only 3 official Iron Throne replicas in the world. In between all these moments the tour guides were giving us various pieces of information regarding the show like how Peter Dinklage went out on the town and got drunk whilst exploring the city and showing us other smaller scenes. I don't want to go into every small detail and ruin the information you'd get while being there and quite frankly I can't remember all of it.
What I will say is that this tour is a must for any TV fan and is a great way to spend a day in Dubrovnik.
